Shay Scruggs is a seasoned wealth management professional with more than 20 years of
experience helping individuals and families navigate complex financial decisions. As
Managing Director, Shay takes a comprehensive approach to wealth management,
bringing together investment management, tax-aware strategies, estate planning
considerations, and long-term financial planning.

A cornerstone of Shay’s approach is understanding each client’s full financial picture
before making recommendations. Rather than viewing investment decisions in isolation,
he considers how the different elements of a client’s wealth intersect and works to develop
strategies aligned with their priorities, circumstances, and long-term goals.

Shay has particular experience in tax-aware investing and incorporates tax considerations
throughout the investment management process. His focus extends beyond portfolio

Throughout his career, Shay has placed a strong emphasis on developing lasting client
relationships built on trust, communication, and a deep understanding of the people and
families he serves. His broad wealth management experience allows him to help clients

strategy to estate planning and the coordination of their broader financial lives.

Shay graduated from Texas A&M University in 1991. Today, he lives in College Station,
Texas, with his wife and four daughters.
